Well, it’s not pretty.  We had a financial scare with the Dutch tax authority – death and taxes – but my imminent departure has been postponed…for now.

My employer is trying to fix things at the same time Kathryn’s employer is determining the next steps for her contract (which expires at the end of the year).  Since our residency is tied to her contract, they must decide this week what to do.
